Prince Louis running excitedly to his older sister with a bunch of flowers has gone viral on in a resurfaced clip.
The youngest member of the Wales family shouted out ‘s name as he took her a bouquet, which had been handed to him by a member of the public on Christmas Day in 2022.
The royal family traditionally walk to church at Sandringham, their country estate in the east of England, and greet royal watchers as they go.
Many have flowers to give out to the royal children and wanted to pass one bunch on to his Charlotte.
A clip of their interaction was liked 168,000 times and viewed 1.6 million times after it was posted with the message: “This moment.”
An on-screen caption read: “Him giving flowers to Charlotte. Notice how Charlotte immediately turns towards him.”
The video also highlighted a “cute little moment” when Louis pointed towards the crowd to show something to his sister as his father and brother stood nearby.
Princess Kate and William’s children are regularly the stars of the show at royal events where the whole family is present, whether it is the Christmas walk to church or ‘s annual birthday military parade.
Trooping the Color will go ahead in June, as a British government spokesperson confirmed last week: “The King’s Birthday Parade, including Trooping the Colour, will go ahead as planned.”
It is not yet clear exactly which royals will attend. Prince William is likely to ride on horseback in the parade while King Charles III is expected to watch from the Buckingham Palace balcony.
However, it is highly likely Kate will not attend as she is currently off work undergoing treatment for cancer.
It is therefore possible the Prince and Princess of Wales’ children will also not go as they would usually be with Kate while William was riding.
However, nothing has yet been announced by the palace and it is of course possible they could be with Queen Camilla or another family member.
If they did attend, it would be the first time Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have been seen in public since Christmas Day 2023, though Prince George was seen at a soccer game as recently as the weekend.
Charlotte and Louis were both seen in family portraits released by the palace to mark their birthdays and Kate was seen with all three children in a Mother’s Day portrait released in March.
That image rapidly became highly controversial, however, as it bore multiple hallmarks of having been edited on Photoshop.
Kate was the following day and the saga appears to have caused permanent damage to Kensington Palace’s relationship with international picture agencies who issued kill notices for the photo.
