We can all relate to the stress caused by , and one woman woken in the middle of the night by loud music has exacted her revenge in the best way.
According to a survey by LendingTree, 73 percent of Americans “dislike at least one of their neighbors.”
Apartment dwellers were the most likely to fall in that group—a whopping 79 percent of the 1,537 respondents to the survey.
TikTok user @kodykunz, 27, who lives in a duplex in the U.S., shared the creative way she and her husband secured revenge after their neighbor decided to play music loudly in the middle of the night.
The couple are parents to a, meaning sleep is more important than ever.

In a video, which you can watch , she explained: “Our neighbors decided to plug a guitar into an amp at 2am so we had to remind them how thin the walls are at 6am.”
The video then shows an amplifier plugged in in the bathroom—for ultimate reverberation—blasting the dulcet tones of James Blunt’s “You’re Beautiful”.
And that wasn’t all, as the video goes on to show clips of ‘s “,” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Can’t Hold Us,” and even Ms Rachel’s “Dino Play” song getting some rotation.

Kodykunz’s video had a huge reaction on , boasting over 3.3 million likes since being uploaded on 3 March.
And thousands took to the comment to praise their behavior, with some claiming they would have gone even further.
“I played What Does the Say at 5:30am when my neighbors decided to blast music at 2am. They never did it again,” one user commented.
Another said they were “too nice, I’d start at 5am.”
Plenty more shared how impressed they were with the couple’s song choices for the revenge playlist, with one asking: How did you curate the perfect list of the “songs most likely to make you want to throat punch someone”?”
Another agreed: “Came here to comment that this is a truly rage inducing playlist. Well played.”
And as one person put it: “If someone woke me up at 6am paying SHAKE IT OFF, I might actually come out swinging.”
To which she replied: “That’s how I felt being woken up by electric guitar at 2am.”
The woman later shared an update video revealing her husband was the brains behind what she described as the “petty playlist”.
She explained: “I did have the idea to play the music for them first thing in the morning, but he was the one that made the magic happen. He really took the initiative. He got the speaker, he found what he thought was the thinnest spot, and made that incredible playlist that you’ve all come to know and love.”
She added: “It was iconic of him and he’s my hero.”
