Kate Middleton Steps Back from Royal Duties to Focus on Cancer Recovery. Sources close to the Princess of Wales have revealed that Kate Middleton’s loyal fans and admirers may have to wait a bit longer before seeing her return to the public eye.
According to reports, Kate has stepped back from her royal duties in order to focus on recovering from an undisclosed form of cancer that was diagnosed earlier this year.
