Royal Feud Heats Up as Meghan and Harry’s Friend Criticizes Kate Middleton’s Cancer Battle. The ongoing tensions between the royal camps have taken an ugly turn, as a close friend of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has come under fire for their harsh criticism of Kate Middleton’s cancer battle.
According to royal expert Richard Eden, Christopher Bouzy – who was featured in Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docuseries – took to the platform formerly known as Twitter to lambast the Princess of Wales for not immediately resuming her royal duties amid her cancer treatment.
Bouzy, who Eden described as a “cheerleader” for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, tweeted: “Approximately 9 million women are diagnosed with cancer each year globally. The vast majority of those women do not stop working while undergoing treatment. Kate hasn’t been seen in public since December, and no matter how much the UK press tries to spin it, it’s not normal.”
This comment sparked outrage, with Eden branding it “disgusting” that Bouzy was “encouraging” a “new wave of trolling of the Princess of Wales” during such a difficult time. Notably, Bouzy has a history of making controversial statements about the royal family. When news of Kate’s cancer diagnosis first emerged, he claimed “The palace lied, and the British press happily helped them lie.”
The royal expert’s condemnation of Bouzy’s remarks underscores the deep divisions that continue to plague the House of Windsor, with the Sussexes’ allies seemingly unwilling to extend empathy or understanding to Kate as she battles her health challenges.
As Kate’s supporters rally behind her during this trying period, the intensifying war of words between the two royal camps shows no signs of abating anytime soon.
