Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are gearing up for another awkward Christmas with Prince William and Kate. The couples have barely exchanged a word in 2023 as their feud intensified following the release of the Duke of Sussex’s autobiography. The book, titled “Spare,” contains numerous jabs at the Prince and Princess of Wales. Oh, and by the way, Scobie’s book, “Endgame,” has only added fuel to the fire by heavily criticizing senior members of the royal family while putting Meghan and Harry on a pedestal. The book sheds light on the strained relationship between Harry and William, claiming not a single message was exchanged between the brothers over the 2022 Christmas period. Oh, and apparently, the Sussexes did send presents for William and Kate’s kids, as if that makes everything better. They say deaths and births can bring battling families back together, but that hasn’t been the case for the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex. In fact, following the Queen’s death, the brothers remained in their own separate corners. Isn’t that heartwarming? And if you thought things might take a turn for the better this year, think again. The Sussexes don’t even have a base in Britain anymore, so the chances of them returning for Christmas are slim to none. King Charles evicted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from Frogmore Cottage after Spare was released. But hey, at least they sent their father a video of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet singing happy birthday. How thoughtful.
