Spending time alongside Prince Harry during his royal duties and within the walls of Kensington Palace allowed Levin to gain deep insights into his character, ultimately shaping her book ‘Harry: Conversations with the Prince’.

Levin suggests that Harry’s behavioral shift can be attributed to his marriage to Meghan Markle. She points to a recent visit by Harry to the UK as an example, where he exhibited unpredictable behavior and demanded apologies before engaging in discussions. Additionally, Levin claims that he has exerted pressure on his father for financial support.

Reflecting on her 15-month experience documenting his biography in 2017, Levin notes a stark contrast in Harry’s attitude post-marriage. While previously described as amiable and adaptable, Levin emphasizes that he has become rigid, insistent, and confrontational, showing reluctance to find common ground.

During Prince Harry’s UK visit to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, speculation arose about a potential interaction with his father, King Charles. Despite both having events on the same day, Levin suggests Harry could have attempted to connect with his father. However, she acknowledges the complexity of the situation, suggesting that an impromptu visit during Charles’s commitments might not have been appropriate.

In ‘Harry: Conversations with the Prince’, Levin discloses Harry’s desire to shed his royal identity and live an ordinary life. His longing for normalcy reflects a desire to escape the confines of being “Prince Harry”.
