Princess Eugenie showed the range of her wedding guest style this weekend. For the nuptials of the Duke of Westminster and Olivia Henson, she kept it low-key in an olive knit dress, but in the evening, she changed into something more party-ready.
For the private reception at Eaton Hall, Princess Eugenie wore Saloni’s embroidered Lea dress, in black. (Though that color is sold out, but the brand makes it in many other colors.) She carried an Anya Hindmarch clutch (for the church service, she accessorized with a different design from the brand), and swapped her Aquazurra “Matilde” heels for their “Very Sundance” sandals.
The tassel clutch, notably, makes a great summer evening bag. As Anya Hindmarch notes on their site, “Each hand-woven clutch incorporates our signature woven bow and leather tassel. The clutch also has a detachable wristlet for a handsfree carrying option, and a magnetic fastening to keep its contents secure.”
Princess Eugenie attended the Duke and Duchess of Westminster’s wedding solo, without her husband Jack Brooksbank. She was spotted arriving at Chester Cathedral with her friend, Violet Henderson Vestey.
Though the Duke of Westminster has many ties to the British royal family, Princess Eugenie and Prince William were the only Windsors in attendance; Prince Harry was invited, but did not attend.
The wedding reception at Eaton Hall was private, but a day after, the Duke and Duchess of Westminster released four official photographs from their wedding, including a few taken at Eaton:
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported us yesterday and want to extend a special thank you to those in Chester who helped make our day so memorable. We have been incredibly touched by everyone’s amazing support and warm wishes,” the newlyweds said in a statement.
