The light-hearted spat took place on the final day of ‘s Platinum Jubilee, which celebrated her reaching a landmark 70 years on the throne.
And amusingly, the cheeky mischief all took place as the young royals sat just a couple of seats away from , then U.K. Prime Minister, on their left and Keir Starmer, the Labour Party leader widely tipped to win the next General Election, behind them.
Mia is the daughter of Zara Tindall, a granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, and former World Cup-winning England rugby star Mike Tindall.
Mike later told his podcast, The Good the Bad and the Rugby, that the kids were all on a sugar high at the time: “There are a lot of sweets out back though, so they had complete sugar highs.”
“The kids were the stars of the show,” he continued. “Louis, he gets—he was just wanting to have fun. And my two are always mischievous, so it was trying to keep a lid on.”
And he added: “It’s tough for them, they’re all young, it’s asking them to sit there from two ’til five, it’s a long time. So as any parent knows, you just do whatever needs to be done.”
The Platinum Jubilee was one of the first moments when got a chance to shine in public through his cheeky behavior, starting a few days earlier at Trooping the Color, the queen’s birthday parade when there was a famous picture of him blocking his ears and screaming during a fly past.
At the pageant, Louis split his time between his mother and father and was also sat on ‘s knee for a section of the day.
