It seems almost impossible that Meghan Markle could have yet another controversy brewing, but here we are.

This time, Pamela Anderson is reportedly considering legal action against her for plagiarism. The former Baywatch star appears convinced that Meghan has taken a few too many creative cues from her and isn’t about to let it go unnoticed. 

Pamela has been experiencing a career resurgence, making appearances on podcasts, interviews, and commercials while also launching the second season of her show Cooking With Love. 

She continues to prove why she has remained a pop culture icon for decades—she’s authentic, likable, and, unlike certain former royals, genuinely respected.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle is preparing for the release of her own show, With Love, Meghan. 

The series features her effortlessly gliding through an opulent estate, offering insights on cooking, gardening, and event planning. 

If that sounds familiar, it’s because it closely resembles Cooking With Love, which Pamela announced over a year ago. And if this were merely an unfortunate coincidence, the striking similarities wouldn’t be so hard to ignore.

Both shows follow an almost identical formula: the star leisurely wandering through picturesque gardens, handpicking fresh produce—despite the likelihood that it was just delivered moments earlier by an assistant. 

Both include cooking segments with guest chefs, both highlight the importance of connecting with loved ones, and even the dialogue mirrors one another. 

Pamela has been quoted saying, “I’ve always wanted to take things to another level,” while Meghan insists, “I’ve always liked to take something common and elevate it.” Groundbreaking stuff.

Then there’s the matter of the titles. Pamela’s show is called Cooking With Love, while Meghan’s is With Love, Meghan. The resemblance is hard to ignore. 

As Pamela continues making well-received media appearances, Meghan has reportedly started canceling some of hers. 

Could it be an attempt at damage control before Pamela takes this public? Because if the reports are true, Pamela fully intends to call her out, and that’s bound to make for some entertaining headlines.

Unsurprisingly, the internet is already buzzing with comparisons. 

Social media users have pointed out the glaring similarities and questioned how Netflix—known for priding itself on originality—failed to notice the overlap. 

This isn’t even the first time Meghan has been accused of borrowing ideas. There have already been comparisons between With Love, Meghan and Emma’s Kitchen, a cooking show by the Marchioness of Bath, Emma Weymouth. It seems originality isn’t exactly Meghan’s strong suit.

Pamela, on the other hand, has built her career on authenticity. Even when she was deeply upset about Hulu’s Pam & Tommy—a dramatization of her infamous stolen tape—people sympathized with her because her reaction was raw and genuine. 

Unlike Meghan, Pamela doesn’t need to reinvent herself every few years to stay relevant. She has recently embraced a fresh, makeup-free look, reminding everyone that she doesn’t need to try so hard to be adored.

Meghan, on the other hand, has spent years carefully crafting her public image, yet continues to struggle with likability. 

And the most frustrating part? She seems fully aware of it but remains unfazed. Fame and fortune appear to be the ultimate goals, and if that means borrowing a few ideas along the way, so be it.

As for whether Pamela will officially sue Meghan for plagiarism, that remains to be seen. But if she does, you can bet the world will be watching. At the very least, it will be fascinating to see how Meghan attempts to spin this one.
