This event was part of a busy week for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Prince Harry was planning to travel to London for a charity event on the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death before heading to Dusseldorf, Germany, for the start of the Invictus Games.

Earlier this week, Meghan and Harry released a Netflix series called "Heart of Invictus" earlier in the week. The series features athletes preparing for the Invictus Games and also includes Prince Harry opening up about his mental health struggles after his military service in Afghanistan.
Meghan and Harry were also among the attendees at Beyoncé's concert in California, where they were spotted in a private box along with other famous faces like Terry Crews, Taraji P. Henson, and Shanina Shaik. In 2019, Beyoncé accepted a Brit Award in front of a portrait showing Meghan as a royal version of the Mona Lisa. In an accompanying post, Beyoncé and Jay-Z acknowledged Meghan's significance during Black History Month and congratulated her on her pregnancy.
