Social-media videos have gone viral of and dancing to Katy Perry after sharing a plane with actors Cameron Diaz and Zoe Saldana. It is the latest sign that the Sussexes are building an A-list lifestyle in America.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen letting their hair down at a Katy Perry concert as took his .
Meghan was filmed by a fellow concertgoer dancing to hit single “Roar” at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, and the duchess appeared to sing along to the line: “You held me down, but I got up.” There is, of course, nothing to suggest she had in mind either the royal rift with the Waleses or her tensions with the media as she sang the lyrics.

The couple left their children, and , back in California as they shared a jet with other stars, including Diaz and her husband, rock star Benji Madden, as well as Saldana and her husband, artist Marco Perego.
It is Harry and Meghan’s latest brush with A-list stars after they , at SoFi Stadium, in Los Angeles, in September. Back then, the duchess was photographed with singer Kelly Rowland and actor Kerry Washington during a star-studded afterparty.
Sightings of Harry and Meghan with A-listers have been few and far between for much of their three-and-a-half years in America as the couple have still not done a red-carpet appearance in Hollywood.
Meghan has not attended an awards ceremony, despite the fact that her Archetypes Spotify podcast picked up a People’s Choice Award and a Gracie.
However, after the couple’s Spotify deal collapsed in June and with their latest project , the couple’s star connections have helped inject a feeling of success back into their public image.
Harry and Meghan’s new public appearances may partly be down to the strikes in Hollywood freeing up some time for the couple to enjoy themselves, but either way it has given news outlets something positive to say about them.
It comes six months after Perry stole the show at ‘s Coronation Concert, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, Berkshire, England, on May 7.
Perry also joined singer Lionel Richie to film a jokey skit in which Charles and Queen Camilla interrupted them filming to ask how long it would be before they gave the room back.
Perry also took a mild swipe at Meghan’s wedding dress back in May 2018, after Harry and Meghan tied the knot at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. Asked about the duchess’ Givenchy gown by Entertainment Tonight, the singer said: “I would have done one more fitting.”
Clearly though, there was no sign of any hard feelings on Meghan’s part as she enjoyed the music in Las Vegas.
