However, the palace has officially announced that Princess Catherine will not be present for Prince William’s yearly charity polo tournament on Windsor’s polo pitch on Friday, July 12.

Notably, she made a brief comeback to the public eye with her family for Trooping the Colour in June. Whenever the Princess of Wales makes a public appearance, it serves as a poignant reminder of how personal and fluctuating each patient’s journey with cancer is.

Last year, the prince raised 1 million pounds with his wife at the charity event. Today’s match marks the 13th time the heir to the throne has participated in the Outsourcing Incorporated Royal Charity Polo Cup. Macmillan Cancer Support also reported a significant increase in visits to their online information and support pages.
