Princess Eugenie emphasized the importance of supporting family in a statement following her attendance at a garden party hosted by Prince William on Tuesday afternoon.
The Prince of Wales hosted the gathering in place of King Charles, and he was accompanied by non-working members of the royal family, including Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Zara Tindall, and Mike Tindall.
William extended invitations to the younger generation of royals, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Taking to Instagram, Eugenie shared photos of herself and the future King, Prince William, sending a message to her cousin Harry that nothing is above family. “Come rain or shine, I was delighted to support my family yesterday to meet some special individuals at the Buckingham Palace Garden Party who’ve gone above and beyond to support their local communities,” she said.
The montage opened with a shot of Eugenie smiling with the day’s must-have accessory, an umbrella, as she mingled in the rain alongside William, her sister Princess Beatrice, cousins Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, and Zara’s husband Mike Tindall.
Beatrice’s husband, Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi, who wasn’t photographed at the party, dropped a supportive comment on Eugenie’s carousel, using four clapping hand emojis. A royal fan reacted, “Happy to see you supporting your family. That’s a nice change from championing H&M’s agenda.
Keep up the good work.” It seems that as Harry has lost another royal loyal friend in Meghan Markle, the relationship between Eugenie and her cousin continues to deteriorate.
