Taylor Swift fans are may have secretly contributed to Lady Gaga’s new track, “How Bad Do U Want Me.”
The track was featured on Gaga’s new album MAYHEM, which was released on Friday, March 7. Despite Swift not being officially credited on the song, many of her fans are convinced they hear her distinct background vocals, sparking a .

“This song is so Taylor coded,” said one user on X (formerly ).
Another person pointed out, “this can be true… remember when both (taylor and gaga) [were seen] getting out of the same studio back in 2023?”
A third noted, “This just sounds like a Taylor song but I don’t think it’s her I don’t think they’d collab.”
“I don’t believe the vocal part but I always think every time I play the song that the intro sounds like the intro to gorgeous,” a fourth explained.
Though the two iconic pop stars have never worked together, they have shown mutual admiration. In a interview last year, Gaga, 38, expressed her support for Swift, 35, and other rising stars. “I watch it all, and I’m like, ‘Yup. Go! Just go,'” Gaga shared. “I’m not only cheering them on, I want them to know that my heart is in it with them. I want them all to feel really happy.”
Swift has recently shown her support for Gaga as well, in July 2024 with Swift calling comments about the “Bad Romance” singer “invasive & irresponsible” .
For Gaga’s new album, she sported a different look, straying from her typical platinum blonde locks. Back in January the pop star for MAYHEM, debuting a much shorter and darker hairstyle, pairing it with some bright red lipstick and dramatic eye makeup. The album can be streamed on platforms like Music and Spotify.
