and his wife, Katelyn Brown, get fired up over television.
The 31-year-old country superstar shared on Taste of Country Nights that he and Katelyn, 32, quarreled over the Paramount+ series Landman.
“We got in an argument over a show the other day; we were talking to our friends about a show,” Kane confessed, referring to the hit drama on the radio show, revealed on Tuesday, January 14.

The “Miles On It” singer said his wife wasn’t a fan, but he was into it, so the disagreement ensued. “She was like, ‘I didn’t like it.’ So, we just started arguing,” he recalled. In response, he exclaimed, “It was freakin’ awesome!”
However, the five-time American Music Award winner admitted that this type of show differs from what they usually watch. “She liked it, but there were just some parts where she felt like it was too much. I completely understand, because we don’t watch stuff like that,” he noted.
According to the streaming giant that hosts the series, “Landman is a modern tale of fortune seeking amongst roughnecks and billionaires in the world of oil.” The drama features an all-star cast, , Jon Hamm, and

The singer-songwriter recounted how Katelyn jumped into the series when a more racy moment played out on screen. “I was like, ‘He’s just trying to portray what the oil man and what the oil life is.’ She came in on the third episode. When the wife and the daughter come in and they’re just like, you know, yoga pants in the living room or bra and panties doing yoga.”
After watching the scene, Kane recalled his wife saying to him, “Oh, this is why you like the show.” He explained to Katelyn that she just came in at an awkward time. “I was like, ‘No, that’s not why. You gotta watch the first two episodes, I swear to you none of this happened until you started watching it,'” he stated.
Kane and Katelyn may not be tuning into the same shows, but that doesn’t seem to be a dealbreaker in their relationship. The couple, who wed in 2018, share three children: daughters Kingsley, 5, Kodi, 2, and son Krewe, 7 months.
