The wife of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee has shared the terrifying moment their pet dog was grabbed by a coyote.

Brittany Furlan Lee released the footage, captured on her Ring doorbell, as she urged pet owners to “please be safe.”

A video shared to her account showed the dog, Neena, in the backyard by the swimming pool when the coyote ran into shot and grabbed her.

Furlan Lee could be heard screaming in terror before sprinting after the coyote, which she said attempted to jump a wall with the dog in its mouth.

Furlan Lee managed to grab Neena back from the wild animal and the doorbell then captured musician Lee coming out to see what had happened, as a sobbing Furlan Lee told him: “A coyote grabbed Neena.”

She captioned the video: “I was letting the dogs out to pee and I was watching them and a coyote came and grabbed Neena in broad daylight.”

The comedian and content creator urged owners: “Please be very careful with your dogs. I’ve lived here for four years and I’ve never seen one coyote and the today this happened. They are desperate.”

Furlan Lee revealed she “climbed up the wall” and grabbed Neena from the animal’s mouth, and shared her gratitude that the dog is “a little bit fat because he couldn’t make it over the wall with her.”

She also shared her fear for their other pet, Teenie, saying that had the coyote targeted her instead “she would’ve been gone.”

Furlan Lee said the coyote attack happened at 1 p.m., adding: “They are getting more . Please be safe. I’m not even letting the dogs out anymore.”

She finished on a plea for dog owners to “hug your babies extra tight.”

Instagram users were horrified by the video, with one writing that Furlan Lee’s “screams made me cry.”

“Omg I am glad everyone is ok, especially Neena,” another said, as a third praised Furlan Lee, saying her “Mom instincts kicked right in.”

Another wrote: “Omg I would be traumatized. So glad you got out there so fast!”

In California, where the couple live with their dogs, residents have voiced concern in recent months after .

One Mar Vista resident told local news channel KTLA that a coyote approached her elderly dog in her backyard but was chased off by her younger dog. Another video showed a man and his dog being stalked by a coyote while they were on a walk.

Between 250,000 and 750,000 coyotes live in California, according to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Furlan Lee, 38, married , 61, in 2019. He had previously been married to actors Pamela Anderson and Heather Locklear and model Elaine Starchuk.
