In the , released Wednesday, February 26, Travis, 35, admitted to Jason, 37, that he’s been going through a rough time since the Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9 — and listening to 35-year-old Swift’s music has helped.

“Do you listen to sad music when you’re depressed, or do you listen to happy music?” Jason asked his little brother. Travis answered, “Jason the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first, right? I listen to music that is very telling of my mood, yes.”
While Jason, who has signed a $24 million broadcasting deal with ESPN since retiring from the , said he was apt to go for “sad country songs,” Travis had a one-track mind: “I just listen to Taylor’s music. She has something for everything.”
Jason approved, saying, “That’s fair. That’s a good point. No matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music.”
Travis admitted, “The Eagles broke my heart.”
The confession came at the very end of the episode, after a long conversation about how great it was for Jason to party with the Eagles — his former team — in celebration of their big win. On the February 21 episode of podcast, that it was hard to watch his brother’s “bloodbath” of a loss.
Before the 2025 Super Bowl, there was much talk of Travis retiring after the big match-up. But since his team’s loss, he’s left fans waiting to hear whether or not he’ll come back for another season to attempt a Super Bowl comeback.
