Joe Rogan has faced some tough competition in the podcast world.
The comedian began hosting The Joe Rogan Experience podcast in 2009, and he has had a wide array of guests on the show, from political figures like and to actors like Jamie Foxx and entrepreneurs like billionaire .

The podcast was on until 2020 when it became a Spotify exclusive show. However, in 2024, the deal with Spotify ended, putting it back on the Apple charts. The show has become a top charting podcast, often sitting at the #1 spot, but it has been dethroned a few times on different charts.

reported in February 2025 that The MeidasTouch podcast took the No. 1 spot away from Rogan, according to Podscribe data.
The political podcast is hosted by three brothers, Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas.
Per their podcast description, the show “combines brotherly love, comedy, news coverage, and deep discussions about supporting our democracy and is the go-to destination for top political leaders who view the podcast as a pivotal stop for their interviews.”
