A video has gone viral of giving a shout-out to Blake Lively and ‘ children during a night of the Eras Tour.
Swift and Lively have been close friends since 2015, with the duo regularly supporting each other publicly. Lively directed Swift’s “I Bet You Think About Me” music video in November 2021 and has attended numerous Eras Tour concerts.
Lively and Reynolds’ oldest daughter, James, made her musical debut in Swift’s song “Gorgeous.” The track was featured on the 2017 album reputation, with James lending her vocals to the track’s intro. Swift also paid homage to three of Lively’s children—James, Inez and Betty—in the track “betty” from her Folklore album.
Now Swift has delighted fans by mentioning the three children again, this time during an Eras Tour concert in Madrid on Wednesday. The singer-songwriter has strayed from her regular schedule to perform two shows at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Spain.
Regalrumination.com emailed Swift and Lively’s individual publicists for comment on Thursday.
During her Folklore set, Swift mentioned the three young girls by name, which can be seen in a video by user @musicsociety.
“I have to say that on Folklore some of my favorite characters are named James, Inez and Betty,” the pop star said as the crowd screamed in excitement.
At the time of writing, the video had been viewed 701,200 times. People took to the comments to express how much they loved the special moment.
“The way she says betty is SO CUTE UGH I love her,” one person commented.
“She’s the best auntie,” said another.
“IM CRYING OH MY GOD,” a third added.
Lively had been spotted in the VIP area of Wednesday night’s crowd with her three eldest daughters. She was also seen enjoying the show alongside sisters Alana, Este and Danielle Haim from the band HAIM.
Despite Lively and Reynolds welcoming their fourth child in February 2023, the public remains unaware of both the name and sex. Reynolds previously on the names of their children when he said he’s “waiting” for the singer-songwriter to tell him the name of their fourth child.
“Taylor Swift keeps dropping [your kids’ names] into lyrics, so just tell us this: Is the fourth child’s name, the baby’s name, anywhere on the new record?” Today host Savannah Guthrie asked Reynolds on the May 13 episode.
“We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name will be. And I’ll say this, we’re still waiting, so Taylor, let’s maybe start [on that], you know,” he joked. “She’s a prolific writer. I mean, what are we doing here? And lazy’s not a word I’d attach to Taylor.”
Footage of has gone viral on , with Swifties dubbing her a “multi-lingual queen.” During the gig at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Swift told the crowd “Bienvenido a la Eras Tour,” which roughly translates to “Welcome to the Eras Tour” in English.
