Taylor Swift fans think the singer might release a new song soon and have shared evidence they claim proves their theory.
One fan speculated that the 35-year-old would soon drop the re-recorded version of her track “Look What You Made Me Do.”
Swift has been re-recording her discography and re-releasing the edits under the name “Taylor’s Version”, after music manager to her music without her knowledge.
Regalrumination.com contacted Swift’s representatives and Shazam by email on Friday morning for comment.

The fan, who runs the @blessedswifty account on X, formerly , shared a screenshot from the music search app Shazam which showed there was an option for a song called “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version),” from her 2017 album Reputation.
“@TaylorSwift13 will release “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” SOON!,” they captioned the post which has been viewed more than 256,000 times.
Below that they shared a similar image from 2021 ahead of the release of her re-recorded version of the song “Love Story” as proof that their prediction would come true.
Swift has already released four re-recorded albums, but still has two more to release, including Reputation and her eponymous debut album.
The singer decided to remake the albums that were recorded while she was signed with Big Machine Label Group, which was acquired by Braun in 2019 and who then owned the master copies of her music. He subsequently sold the songs to an investment company for $300 million without her knowledge.

A number of other Swifties—the name of the singer’s fan base—argued that only artists can register songs on Shazam so the theory must be true.
One fan wrote on Reddit, referring to the start of the Lunar New Year, which will bring in the Year of the Snake in Chinese astrology: “End of the month at the EARLIEST. It would be a very Taylor thing to wait until we’re in the year of the Snake.”
Much of the imagery in the “Look What You Made Me Do” music video featured snakes and appeared on Swift’s costume when she performed the Reputation era section of her recent world tour.
Another fan added on Reddit: “I normally just laugh and roll my eyes at the clowning but this might be what finally convinces me.

It has been almost one month since Swift wrapped up her record-breaking Eras world tour after almost two years on the road, leaving many people speculating what with her career, with many presuming she will focus on finishing her “Taylor’s Version” recordings.
Only time will tell whether the Swifties’ predictions will come true and she will release new music soon.
