is going to be a granddad (again). His daughter, Kimberly Stewart, took to on Sunday, March 16, to announce that she’s expecting her second child — 13 years after giving birth to her first.
“Baby boy coming soon,” she captioned a few photos of her baby bump. On her Stories, she shared a couple of additional posts, including a photo of her sitting between her daughter, Delilah, 13 (whose dad is actor Benicio del Toro) and her mom, Alana Stewart. Kimberly, 45, did not share her due date or the name of the baby’s father.
The post marked Kimberly’s first of the year. She’s been mum on the Instagram platform by way of feed posts since October 2024.

The baby news comes on the heels of reports that Rod hasn’t been doing well. In a July 2024 interview with , the 80-year-old musician said that he plans on enjoying his life for as long as he can.
“I’m aware my days are numbered but I’ve got no fear,” he told the outlet. “We have all got to pass on at some point, so we are all in the same basket. I am going to be enjoying myself for these last few years as much as I can. I say few — probably another 15. I can do that easy mate, easy.”
Over the years, Rod has dealt with a number of different health issues. He was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2000 and with prostate cancer in 2016. In September 2019, he revealed the latter diagnosis publicly.
“Two years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I’m in the clear now, simply because I caught it early,” he said at a fundraising event for the Prostate Project charity, according to . “I’ve worked for two years and I’ve just been happy, and the good Lord looked after me,” he continued, before encouraging others to get checked. “Guys, you’ve got to really go to the doctor … Finger up the bum, no harm done.”
More recently, Rod had to cancel shows in Las Vegas due to sickness. In August 2024, he came down with strep throat and was unable to perform.
“My deepest regrets for any inconvenience this has caused,” he captioned an post at the time.
Rod has a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in with show dates through October 2025.
