An up-and-coming rapper who was trying to “get clean” has died after being taken off life support.
According to reports, 26-year-old Enchanting—born Channing Nicole Larry—was in intensive care following a drug overdose.
The artist was signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 label in 2020 and has 124,849 monthly listens on Spotify. Her top song, “No Luv (Feat. Bigg Scarr, Jey Glock)” had 6,797,113 listens at the time of writing. Larry also had an OnlyFans account, which she was shooting content for right up until her death.

A representative from her management team, who confirmed her death on Tuesday evening, told The Shade Room that Larry was suffering from withdrawals. “She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried,” they said.
Regalrumination.com contacted Larry’s manager, Jimmy Carl Jackson, via Instagram for comment on Wednesday.
Unconfirmed reports of her death began circulating on Monday, June 10. Once her death was announced on Tuesday, people started sharing their tributes for the 26-year-old on social media.
Gucci Mane posted his condolences on Instagram, writing: “So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant.”
Friend Lil CJ Casino also took to Instagram to share how devastated he was over the loss.

According to Larry’s profile on The New 1017’s website, she began her music career after graduating high school in Fort Worth, Texas.
“I had to get comfortable with my voice,” Larry explained. “Staying in the studio and constantly recording, it helps me find the style I can be good at.”
The rapper defined her music style as “Trap-n-Blues” and said she used music as a vehicle of expression for herself and her fans.
She added: “Other people can relate to the things I say. I might help somebody through any situation, they can listen to me and find peace.”
Larry was featured on Gucci Mane’s 2020 mixtape “So Icy Summer” and in 2023, she was profiled by the v. She told the publication that she has always loved music and detailed her beginnings in music in the church choir.
“I feel like music was always something that was easy for me. I felt like I was musically inclined, always. It was something that I thought should probably put more time and effort into, because it was natural, you know, instead of trying to force a talent,” she said.
It was at this time that Larry was collaborating with producer J White, who has previously worked with Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Gucci Mane.
