Job description: Description:The Lab Tech will perform all functions within the QC Micro Lab including: M-F 7am-4pm.Media PreparationEnvironmental Swabbing for pathogens and internal quality auditing of the facility.Analytical Testing: Examples – Moisture, Fat, pH, Salt, Titratable AcidityMicrobiological Testing: Examples – Standard Plate Count, Yeast and Mold, Coliform, E.coli, Staphylococcus, Listeria, SalmonellaAll test methods are traditional BAM or AOAC approved methods (no petrifilm)Calibration of Lab EquipmentAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors Degree Microbiology .Will Consider someone with a Bachelors in Science if they have proven Microbiology coursework and lab skillsAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
