Why It Matters
A clip of the moment went newly viral on TikTok, where it was liked 12k times and viewed 183k times.
In particular, fans appeared to like the fact that Charlotte didn’t make a fuss, reflecting the “never complain” spirit for which the British royal family is known.
What to Know
The princess was seen rubbing the side of her head several times, apparently still in pain from the collision, but did not appear to tell her parents, and Princess Kate, who were just behind her.
The TikTok post carried onscreen captions that stated Charlotte “accidentally bumps into Louis’ head” then “decides to act like nothing happened.”
Trooping the Colour is the official birthday military parade for the British monarch and takes place in June each year, irrespective of when the actual birthday is.
Queen Elizabeth II was born in April and King Charles in November, but Trooping is always in June.
In recent years, William and Kate’s children have been the stars of the show, particularly Louis, who has become famous for his dancing and expressive reactions to the parade and subsequent fly past by Royal Air Force jets.
