A source close to the Duke claimed that Harry would surely be feeling “spare” after Beatrice and Eugenie’s snub during his trip to the UK for the Invictus Games. Beatrice and Eugenie also stayed away from Harry as they feared that a reunion with him could send the wrong message to the palace. “Beatrice and Eugenie have firmly pledged their allegiance to the royal family,” one insider remarked. “They’re nowhere near as close to Harry and Meghan as they once were.”
