Prince William’s overseas trip to Germany this weekend is in doubt as the Princess of Wales is expected to remain in London.

William is the President of the Football Association and regularly attends England matches.

Gareth Southgate’s team face Switzerland in Dusseldorf on Saturday in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024.

However, the royal was pictured watching England’s second game of Euro 2024 against Denmark last month.

William was seen talking to the King of Denmark at the match as the teams played out a 1-1 draw.

The Prince of Wales missed England’s final group stage game against Slovenia as he was supporting King Charles during the State Visit of the Emperor and Empress of Japan.

The President of the FA also missed England’s dramatic 2-1 victory over Slovakia in the extra time last Sunday.

Harry Kane, captain of England, then scored the winning goal in extra time to set up Saturday’s clash with Switzerland.

The Swiss have been one of the surprise packages of the tournament and comfortably beat reigning champions Italy in their last 16 match.

Prince George could join William at the Euro 2024 quarter-final match tonight.

William took his son to watch the FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Manchester United at Wembley in May.
