We love you.” And to top it off, he shared a previously unseen photo of Catherine, looking radiant in jeans and a gingham scarf. A classy, wholesome post that quickly racked up millions of views, with people flooding the comments to send their birthday wishes.

Now, let’s get back to Meghan. While the world was celebrating Catherine, what was Meghan up to? Oh, she tried – she really did. On the same day, Harry and Meghan decided to release a statement about the wildfires in California. 

Was it necessary? Sure, wildfires are a serious issue. But was it opportunistic? Absolutely. The message, posted on their website (likely only read by their PR team), urged people to check in on their neighbors and donate to charity. 

But was this really the time for a public statement? Catherine’s birthday was trending worldwide, and they just couldn’t resist trying to steal some of that attention. This was their latest “Uvaldi moment”—another tone-deaf attempt to insert themselves into a serious situation while people saw right through their motives.

It’s not just the timing that’s laughable; it’s the predictability. Every time Catherine gets any attention, Meghan somehow appears with an impassioned statement or a carefully staged photo shoot.

Maybe next time, Meghan could just let Catherine have her moment without turning it into another cringeworthy PR grab.
