Prince Louis copying by sweeping his hair dramatically to one side went viral on social media.
Louis, who turned 7 last month, was watching VE Day celebrations in London when he saw his older brother sweep his hair to one side with the aplomb one might expect from a future king.
Moments later, gave a very dramatic impersonation of his older brother, melting hearts online, but he did not necessarily actually rearrange his hair quite so effectively.
The Context
of the moment was viewed 1.1 million times and liked 15,000 times after it was posted on X, formerly Twitter, with the message: “Prince George fixing his hair.
Prince Louis 1 second later.”
What To Know
The brothers were watching from the stands on Monday as a military procession marched down The Mall, near Buckingham Palace, to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day.
It was a big day for George, as he got to meet World War II veterans and survivors during a reception hosted by and Queen Camilla at Buckingham Palace.
Among them, George spoke to Alfred, aged 101, who participated in the Normandy landings.
The young royal asked, “What was it like when you were coming in?” while Alfred said it was “pretty awful.”
“You know, it’s very important you are here today,” he told George, quoted by Hello! “It’s days like this that we should use to talk about things like this, so the younger generation can have some understanding.”
And Alfred gave a glowing endorsement of George: “You should be very proud.”
