The much-anticipated reading of Queen Elizabeth II’s final will and testament has taken place, and the results are sending shockwaves across the globe. Contrary to widespread speculation, the late monarch did not leave her grandson, Prince Harry, a single penny from her vast fortune. 

This revelation is expected to widen the rift between Harry and the rest of the royal family, who appear to have been the primary beneficiaries of the Queen’s estate. Royal insiders reveal that Harry is enraged and feels deeply betrayed by his grandmother’s decision. He had been convinced that the Queen held a special affection for him and would ensure his financial security even after he and Meghan stepped back from royal duties. A source close to Harry shared with reporters that he is “absolutely gutted” to learn that she left him with nothing.

The Queen’s will, read to her closest family members last week, reportedly allocates the bulk of her estimated £365 million ($450 million) personal fortune to her sons, Prince Charles and Prince Andrew, as well as her daughter, Princess Anne. Smaller portions are designated for various charities, organizations, and distant royal relations. Notably, the document conspicuously omits any bequest to Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. Buckingham Palace has yet to officially comment on the contents of the will. However, sources indicate that Harry is extremely upset. He reportedly stormed out of the reading, exclaiming that his grandmother had torn his family apart and vowed to challenge the will in court. Harry feels as though he has been let down by the institutions he once trusted.
