Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle has been slammed by the late Princess Diana’s former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, who expressed concerns over the health of their relationship.

Ken, who served the late Princess of Wales from 1988 to 1993, did not hesitate in voicing his unease as he remarked that “something is not right” within the Sussexes’ relationship.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in an idyllic Windsor ceremony back in May 2018, which came less than two years after their first date in London, the Express reports.

In conversation with GB News, Wharfe was probed on if he believes Meghan had “brainwashed” Harry, to which he replied: “Well I think that when you look at the wedding and the public events that followed – an event in Nottingham and that event in London – she [Meghan] is the consummate actress, the consummate performer.”

He added: “You could see the look in Harry’s eyes saying ‘hey look what I’ve got, it’s amazing’, but where did it all fall apart?

Whether he is completely under her control, some people say that he is, I can’t say that in all honesty.”

He continued to elaborate on the dynamics of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship, saying: “It seems to me that something is not quite right in that relationship.”

When asked whether he believes Prince Harry is happy, Wharfe claimed: “I don’t think he is. If you look at him up until the point of his marriage, Harry was the joker.
