Prince Harry was filmed practicing his surfing, and his skills on the board have impressed fans online.
The Duke of Sussex looked like a natural while out with the Kelly Slater Wave Company in California.
Raimana Van Bastolaer, who helped Harry master his new hobby, posted footage on of the royal riding a wave.
Bastolaer wrote in the video’s caption: “In tahiti, we still call you but at surfranch, it’s my Brother,. It was an honor to have you surf with me & @kellyslater @michaelanders_ at @kswaveco.”
One fan commented: “Prince Harry, you have always been my favorite royal guy but now you stole my heart forever. That was awesome.”
In his , Harry discussed his love of sport, writing that as a teenager at the boarding school Eton, he preferred sports played on land.
He wrote: “Sport, I decided, would be my thing at Eton. Sporty boys were separated into two groups: dry bobs and wet bobs.
“Dry bobs played cricket, football, rugby, or polo. Wet bobs rowed, sailed, or swam. I was a dry who occasionally got wet.
“I played every dry sport, though rugby captured my heart. Beautiful game, plus a good excuse to run into stuff very hard. Rugby let me indulge my rage, which some had now taken to calling a ‘red mist.'”

There has long been debate over how much Harry has embraced his new U.S. lifestyle and whether he secretly yearns for Britain.

That Harry now has a new love for—and impressive ability at—a very Californian hobby will no doubt be read as a sign that he is enjoying his life in the States.
In April 2022, the prince told Hoda Kotb in an interview for Today: “Home for me now is, you know, for the time being, it’s in the States, and it feels that way as well.
“We’ve been welcomed with open arms, and we’ve got such a great community up in Santa Barbara.”
