Prince Harry is reportedly gearing up to make a trip back to the UK in an attempt to repair relations with the Royal Family, according to a source.

It comes after a series of slights against the Duke of Sussex, including not being invited to Trooping the Colour, missing out on a chance to see King Charles during a visit, and being notably absent from the guest list at the Duke of Westminster’s wedding.

Harry was said to be “upset and emotional” upon seeing footage of Princess Kate from afar int he US. It appears he has now decided to take matters into his own hands.

A source told Closer magazine: “He can’t believe it’s come to this, and he’s now saying he’s going to fly over and force them to face him. He’s still a prince, after all; they’re still his family, and whether they like it or not, he’s refusing to just be cast aside.”

The source added: “He continues to be heartbroken and confused by the way he’s being treated by the royals. It’s as though he doesn’t exist anymore.”

Harry’s rift with the Royal Family became public in March 2021 when he and Meghan sat down for a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. During the interview, they levelled accusations of racism and bullying against the Royal household. 

In the same interview, Meghan claimed that she had been brought to tears by Princess Kate over a disagreement concerning Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress before Harry and Meghan’s nuptials in 2018.

The bombshell Netflix series “Harry and Meghan” shed light on the alleged “coldness” of Kate towards Meghan, a sentiment echoed in Prince Harry’s 2023 memoir Spare, where he described Kate as “grimacing” over lip gloss.

Meghan Markle recently sparked controversy by launching a line of dog treats under her American Riviera Orchard brand, coinciding with Kate’s return to the public eye last week.

Prince Harry’s once warm relationship with Kate has reportedly deteriorated. That’s despite their shared sense of humour, highlighted by a past Christmas gift from Kate to Harry, a “grow-your-own girlfriend” kit.

A source close to the situation claimed Harry is deeply troubled by his estrangement from the royals, particularly his inability to “bond” with his once “beloved” sister-in-law, Kate, describing it as “incredibly difficult”.

The insider revealed: “He continues to be heartbroken and confused by the way he’s being treated by the royals. He’s not getting updates on his father or Kate’s health, and even basic communications are pretty well non-existent.”

They added: “It’s as though he doesn’t exist anymore.”
