Prince Harry’s recent actions indicate that he has no desire to mend his relationship with the royal family. Despite the possibility of his return to the UK, an expert suggests that this will not bring an end to the ongoing rift. 

When Prince Harry visited the UK in May for the Invictus Games service, he chose not to stay at a royal residence and did not meet any family members from his father’s side. He also declined an invitation to his close friend’s wedding and was not included in the Trooping the Colour event.

Jenny Bond, a former BBC royal correspondent, expressed her doubts about Harry’s intentions. She stated that if he truly wanted to reconcile with his family, he would have allocated more time for his visits, allowing his father to make arrangements to see him. 

Bond also mentioned the possibility of a reunion between Harry and his older brother, Prince William, but she believes it is unlikely given William’s current responsibilities. However, she expressed hope that Harry could spend time at Balmoral during the summer and reconcile with his father.

These comments follow a disclosure from a source to Closer magazine revealing that Harry was upset and emotional after seeing footage of his family celebrating the King’s birthday at Trooping the Colour. 

The source stated that Harry intends to fly over and confront his family, refusing to be cast aside. 

Harry is said to be particularly saddened by the deterioration of his relationship with his sister-in-law, Princess Kate, as they were once close. The insider added that Harry feels heartbroken and confused by the way he is being treated by the Royals, with little communication and updates on his father and Kate’s health.

In a daring act of defiance, he made the audacious decision to abstain from attending his dear comrade Jack Mann’s nuptial ceremony with Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe. Unfortunately, he found himself excluded from the grand spectacle of Trooping the Colour on the 15th of June. 

Although Harry did visit the King in February after learning of his cancer diagnosis, their meeting was brief, and he returned to California the next day. While Harry and Meghan sent a message of support to Kate when she received her own cancer news, they have not seen each other in a while.
