Prince Harry reportedly focussed most of his anger on two particular royals after he was ‘banished’ from the family – and it may not be a huge surprise who.

Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties in January 2020 after marrying in 2018, and decided to leave the UK for a life in California. Having said they wanted to raise their children with more space, they were last year asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage, and Harry has been in the same place as his father and brother just a handful of times.

It has now been revealed who Harry blames most for what he views as his harsh treatment at the hands of the Royal Family. And although the Princess of Wales, Kate, was one of those at the centre of the situation, she is not believed to be the one towards whom he harbours the most anger.

When Harry and Meghan decided to leave the Royal Family in 2020, Kate did not object to this decision – but she was nonetheless adamant that they must have their patronages and HRH titles stripped from them when they left. According to sources close to Harry, he was shocked and hurt at the time – although he chose to leave, to Harry it felt like a malicious banishment.

Harry now felt like an outcast, and according to a senior royal source, struggled to come to terms with the fact that the entire Royal Family had turned on him at once, according to royal author Robert Jobson, in his new book ‘Catherine, the Princess of Wales: The biography’. As a result, his anger became focussed on his brother, heir to the throne William, and his father, King Charles III, with whom he has a difficult relationship, he wrote for MailOnline.

The lost Prince has made returns to the UK for a number of reasons, including the late Queen’s platinum jubilee, her funeral later that year, and the King’s coronation in May 2023. As a non-working member of the family, he did not appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony or play any official role in the occasions.

More recently, the Prince flew home in February for a brief 45-minute meeting with his father, Charles, after it emerged he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has also made more regular visits to attend his multiple court cases against newspaper publishers.

But with William and Harry appearing no closer to making up, and after Fergie and Prince Andrew have began making public appearances in the last two years, the royal source is questioning whether Charles is attempting to send a message to his heir.

“Perhaps the King is subliminally trying to show William that forgiving one’s brother and giving him a second chance is a strength, not a weakness. Prince William disagrees – and as for his own brother, as far as he is concerned there is no way back,” the source said.

So it doesn’t appear that much will change in the foreseeable future for William and Harry’s relationship. With both sides showing little willingness to make up with the other, the royal feud could continue for decades.
