Prince Harry has received a stern warning against releasing a follow-up to his explosive memoir, with concerns that it could irreparably damage his relationship with the royal family. In an interview with The Mirror, royal expert Tom Quinn suggested that any additional revelations from the Duke of Sussex could permanently sever ties with his family.
“Publication of a new book with yet more revelations about fights and bullying would certainly put an end finally to Harry‘s relationship with his family,” Quinn asserted, “even though there isn’t much of that relationship left anyway.”
Harry shook the foundations of the royal palace with the release of “Spare” last January. In the memoir, he recounted his tumultuous experiences within the royal family before he and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties and moved to the United States.
The prince has hinted at the possibility of a sequel, mentioning in an interview that he purposely omitted certain details from the first book to avoid provoking King Charles and Prince William.
Despite his strained relationship with his family, Harry is often reported to feel a longing to return to his homeland, citing a lack of purpose in his new life in the US.
