PRINCE GEORGE’S appearance at the FA Cup final has left royal-watchers all saying the same thing as he was flashed up on screen alongside his dad Prince William.
The father and son duo were seen side-by-side at the match between Manchester United and Manchester City at Wembley Stadium in London this afternoon. The Prince of Wales was present in his role as President of the Football Association.
The 10-year-old and William, 41, were seen in the stands during the match and shook the hands of all the players after the high-stakes game, which United won 2-1.
But viewers were taken with the way they didn’t just look the same – they appeared to have the exact same mannerisms, with one insisting: “They’re both standing the exact same way.”
Another said the youngster behaved just like both William and his mum Kate Middleton, saying: “Prince George has the same mannerism as his parents with their hair.”
A third wrote: “Goodness, Prince George is growing up to be the spitting image of his father.” Another insisted, watching the lad shaking hands with City manager Pep Guardiola: “Can’t cope with how grown George looks.”
The Prince of Wales shook hands and wished both teams luck when he was introduced to the teams at Wembley, moments before kick off.
They met again after the match when the likes of Manchester City’s Jack Grealish walked up up to the royal box to shake hands with William and George, followed by players from the triumphant Manchester United.
The team, including Bruno Fernandes, proudly held up the FA Cup in front of the royals and cheered as they raised it into the air.
