Hollywood actress Olivia Munn took to on Sunday to send a special message to Princess Kate after the royal made her while continuing her treatment for cancer.
Kate walked into the center court royal box at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships alongside sister, Pippa Matthews, and daughter, , to watch the men’s singles final match between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz.
When Kate arrived to take her seat, she was met with a standing ovation from the crowd and large cheers which she warmly received.
Shortly afterward the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media channels run by Kensington Palace uploaded photographs of Kate at the with the caption “Great to be back at @Wimbledon! There’s nothing quite like The Championships 🎾.”
This saw a wave of likes and comments from fans, including X-Men: Apocalypse star, Munn.
Munn, 43, is experiencing her own battle with cancer, having received a diagnosis for luminal B breast cancer in 2023. The star has discussed her diagnosis and treatment publicly in the hopes of raising awareness of the illness and to encourage others to attend regular screening.
The actress left a comment on the post with a supportive message to the princess, reading: “You’re a champion. 🤍🤍🤍”

The princess’ attendance at this year’s event was the basis of growing speculation before the announcement just 24 hours before the men’s final that she would be there to present the winning trophy.
The royal is continuing to undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy treatment . She has mainly stepped out of the public eye while tackling her health issues, though in June announced that she hoped to attend some events over the summer if she felt well enough and on the advice of her doctors.
In her cancer journey, Munn has also discussed the impact her diagnosis has had on her family. She is and together they have one child, a son named Malcolm.
This is not the first time she has praised Kate since her cancer announcement. When the princess revealed she had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of the illness, the actress posted a social media message praising her for going public.
“Thank you for showing what it’s like to fight with grace and determination for yourself and for your family. Wishing you all the best 🤍🤍🤍,” she posted to Instagram.
