Meghan’s Malicious Dig? Duchess Throws Subtle Shade at Royal ‘Personalities’
Just when you thought Meghan Markle couldn’t get any more attention-seeking, the Duchess of Sussex has outdone herself yet again.
During a recent appearance at a high-profile charity event, Meghan couldn’t resist taking a thinly-veiled swipe at the oh-so “vibrant personalities” of the British royal family.
The nerve of this woman! As if the Windsors don’t have enough to deal with, what with Prince Harry’s constant public airing of family grievances.
Now his petulant wife has joined the fray, cleverly insinuating that the royals are a dull, lifeless bunch – at least compared to the scintillating Sussexes, of course.
“The personalities here today are just so vibrant and exciting,” Meghan gushed to the adoring crowd, shooting a not-so-subtle sideways glance.
Oof, talk about a backhanded compliment. Way to throw some high-class shade, Duchess!
One can only imagine the collective eye-roll happening at Buckingham Palace right about now. After all, the royals are renowned for their sparkling wit, charm and charisma. How dare Meghan imply otherwise!
But then again, what else can we expect from this attention-hungry pair? Harry and Meghan seem hell-bent on portraying themselves as the fun, relatable anti-royals – even if it means rudely dissing the Queen and her stuffy brood.
And let’s not forget, this isn’t the first time Meghan has taken not-so-veiled swipes at the royal family. Remember when she claimed the monarchy was “living in an antiquated world”? Classy.
Of course, the Sussexes will likely try to brush off Meghan’s latest remarks as simple, harmless compliments. But we all know better, don’t we?
This was a calculated jab, pure and simple – an attempt to position Harry and Meghan as the vibrant, exciting royals the public truly wants, versus the dull, dusty Windsor clan.
Sorry, Duchess, but the rest of us aren’t buying your sweet-as-pie act. We see right through your malicious little digs.
The royals may have their fair share of “personalities,” but at least they have the good sense to keep their family drama behind closed palace doors.
You and Harry, on the other hand, just can’t seem to resist airing your dirty laundry for the whole world to see. Classy move, you two. Real classy.
