Meghan Markle is reportedly at the center of a dramatic restaurant altercation. According to a video shared by a gossip YouTube channel over the weekend, Meghan and a group of 12 friends allegedly caused a stir at Troon, an upscale Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara.

The trendy restaurant, part of the Montano Group originally launched by Gene Montano, is known for its rustic charm and high-end cuisine. Montano is also behind popular spots like Lucky’s Steakhouse and Butini.

Troon’s discreet service caters to a wealthy clientele, often offering private dining experiences away from public scrutiny. Meghan is reportedly a frequent patron of Troon, dining there regularly with friends. However, it’s said that she hasn’t always been the most pleasant guest, displaying diva-like behavior and making extravagant demands while treating the staff as though they were personal servants.

The situation reportedly came to a head this past weekend when Meghan and her party arrived unannounced at Troon for a birthday dinner. The visit involved over $2,000 worth of premium wines, imported cheeses, and a multi-course meal. During the evening, the group is said to have subjected the staff to relentless micromanagement and complaints, creating a tense atmosphere.

The drama escalated when the restaurant owner personally delivered the substantial bill to Meghan’s private room. Anticipating a smooth transaction, he was surprised when Meghan allegedly refused to pay, claiming the charges were inaccurate without providing any evidence or engaging in discussion. 

This refusal led to a heated confrontation between Meghan and the restaurant owner, which reportedly deteriorated into a public shouting match—a rare occurrence for the usually refined establishment.

Meghan is said to have ranted about her perceived special status and threatened to tarnish Troon’s reputation on social media if she was forced to pay. Despite her protestations, the restaurant owner insisted that the bill be settled before Meghan and her party could leave. 

The confrontation reportedly drew the attention of other diners, who watched in astonishment as security was called to manage the escalating chaos. Meghan is said to have left the scene in tears, escorted by bodyguards to an awaiting SUV before the arrival of the police.
