Meghan Markle is facing challenges in finding a chef and other workers for her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. Angela Levin, a royal commentator, highlighted Markle’s struggle with her venture, stating that she’s “at a stalemate” with it. According to Levin, Markle is disappointed with the reception her brand has received.
She shared that Markle sent it to around 50 friends, but only a few responded, making it somewhat of a “laughing stock.”
Levin elaborated on the difficulties Markle is encountering in recruiting staff. She mentioned that Markle has had trouble finding a CEO to run the brand and is facing similar challenges in hiring a chef.
Levin noted that some potential candidates have visited Markle’s project but found her to be excessively meticulous and demanding. This has deterred them from wanting to work with her, particularly since they are already established professionals in their field.
Markle’s brand aims to offer various products, including fabric gift wraps, cocktail napkins, meditation mats, and even pillows for household pets. Despite Markle’s ambitious plans and numerous endeavors, Levin emphasized that Markle is finding it tougher than anticipated. She speculated that Markle might have overestimated how well her brand would be received and underestimated the amount of hard work it would entail.
Levin previously mentioned that Markle has been feeling low due to criticism over her new venture. She described Markle as “thin-skinned” and mentioned that she has been visibly affected by the criticism, even shedding tears.
In other royal news, it has been confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not received invitations to attend Trooping the Colour for the second consecutive year. This annual event, marking the official birthday of the King, will take place on June 15th.
Despite their absence from royal events, Harry flew to the UK recently to visit his father, King Charles, who has been battling cancer. However, he missed Trooping the Colour, where King Charles will be present along with Queen Camilla.
