This isn’t new behavior; it’s a pattern. And now, as Trump’s political future remains uncertain, the Sussexes seem to be waving a red flag right in front of him.

This is what makes it all so frustrating. While Meghan and Harry continue their attention-seeking antics, the real royals are quietly carrying on with their duties. 

Have you ever seen Princess Catherine issuing political statements? Has Prince William ever waded into social media policies? No—because they understand the role they play. They respect the monarchy, the institution, and the responsibility that comes with it.

PR expert Nick Ede recently pointed out that Trump is unlikely to let this slide—and frankly, who could blame him? The Sussexes have been provoking him for years, and now, they’re at it again. 

Meanwhile, Nile Gardiner from the Heritage Foundation went a step further, calling their intervention hugely inappropriate. He’s absolutely right—using royal titles to push political narratives is exactly why public opinion has turned against them.

Speaking of political battles, let’s not forget Harry’s immigration status. After all those drug admissions in Spare, there have been growing calls to release his immigration records. Gardiner has been pushing for transparency, and honestly? It’s about time. If Harry and Meghan are going to preach about integrity, maybe they should start with their own situation.

What really gets me is the utter hypocrisy of it all. While King Charles battles cancer and Princess Catherine focuses on her recovery, the Sussexes are once again making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Their Archewell Foundation statement even accused Meta of abandoning public safety for profit—coming from two people who have made millions off of family drama, that’s pretty rich.

And let’s not forget those bullying allegations against Meghan from her time at the palace. The same woman who allegedly mistreated palace staff now wants to talk about resisting bullying? Please.

PR stunt after PR stunt—it’s exhausting. The Sussexes claim they want to avoid political confrontation, yet every move they make is carefully designed to stir up controversy. They use their foundation as a political tool, despite the fact that royals are traditionally expected to remain neutral. Remember when being royal was about service, not self-promotion?

Their Netflix deal flopped, their Spotify contract collapsed, and now they’re clinging to social media controversies just to stay in the headlines. Compare that to the real royals, who continue to serve with dignity and actually make a difference.

The sad part? Harry used to be so different. Remember the old Harry? The military veteran who founded Invictus Games, the prince who seemed to have a genuine passion for service? Look at him now—his wife’s spokesperson, isolated from his family, engaging in political feuds no royal should ever touch. It’s heartbreaking.

And Meghan? Well, let’s just say her true colors have been on full display since day one. From the moment she entered the royal family, it seems she had an agenda. Now, she’s got exactly what she wanted—Harry at her side, cut off from his family, constantly making headlines.

While the true working royals continue to handle their responsibilities with dignity and grace, the Sussexes are once again embroiled in controversy. Instead of focusing on their actual charitable work, they’ve turned themselves into a political sideshow. And for what? Relevance? Attention? A headline or two?

Here’s what I’d love to see—just once—Harry and Meghan stepping back from the spotlight. Instead of trying to lecture tech companies and stir political drama, how about supporting King Charles during his cancer battle? Or reaching out to Princess Catherine as she recovers? But of course, that would require putting family before fame, and we all know how unlikely that is.
