Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are said to be scrambling to preserve their final few remaining celebrity friendships amid concerns their social circle is diminishing.

It follows reports that the Hollywood elite are “distancing themselves” from the Sussexes.

However, it has been claimed that Meghan is attempting to remain close to one particular A-list star.

The Duchess was spotted dressed “specifically” in Beyonc’s Ivy Park brand tracksuit while filming for Netflix last week.

Sources suggest the outfit choice was a “message” to insinuate that the two are still friends.

“Meghan was filming for her new Netflix series and specifically chose to wear Ivy Park to highlight her connection to Beyonc and send a message that they’re still friends,” a source told Heat Magazine.

“With practically every other famous friend distancing themselves from her and Harry, Meghan is understandably worried that their Hollywood network is falling apart.

“And Bey is the most well known of the few stars who will still associate with her.”

The source added that Meghan is “really going for it” with efforts to maintain the relationship.

It has also been claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is trying to probe a friendship with Beyonc’s younger sister, Solange.

The insider said despite “not having spoken to her in months”, Meghan was invited to the singer’s July 4 party.

It comes after the Sussexes reportedly shattered a bond with Victoria and David Beckham after the royals allegedly accused the Beckhams of leaking information to the press.

The Beckhams are said to be aligning closer to Prince William and Kate in a bid to gain a knighthood for the former footballer.

Other sources claim Harry has also attempted to generate more celebrity friendships by “reaching out to Jay Z” about “getting involved” with his charity foundation.

One insider said: “In Meghan’s eyes, they need to ingratiate themselves with Bey and Jay in any way possible.

“And she’ll do whatever it takes to ensure she stays friends with one of the world’s most influential power couples.”
