Job description: Remote, work from home – United StatesSummary:The Commission Project Advisor is responsible for leading small, mid-sized and large projects supporting Medicare commissions. Understands and evaluates business specific objectives and drives the development and delivery of new enhancements and/or processing updates. Contributes to projects and processes that improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the commission processes. Resolves inquiries and conducts research to provide commission and producer information to commission team members. Fulfills requests for reports and serves as a technical resource. Supports and provides direction to junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring “expert” level technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.Responsibilities:
- Accountable for working closely with Business Analysts, Enterprise and Solution Architects, Designers, Developers and Quality Assurance to clearly articulate defined requirements and business scenarios.
- Creates business requirements, features, and user stories using Agile methodology
- Communicates detailed business and/or functional requirements to critical matrix partners including Agile scrum team
- Provide development and support for commission processing tools to create commission pay files and producer statements.
- Produce scheduled and ad hoc reporting for various business teams
- Provide time and effort estimates for project and reporting requests
- Assist Business Project Advisor in working with multiple teams across the organization for support of BOT and Alteryx processes.
- Identifies and facilitates process design changes and executes process improvement initiatives within team.
- Assist Commissions Operations team with research and query support.
- Performs user acceptance testing and creation of test documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or related field or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of relevant Medicare Part C and/or Part D work experience
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in writing requirements and user acceptance testing
- Demonstrated strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to foster collaboration, value others’ perspectives and gain support and buy-in to meet organizational goals
- Comfortable working and presenting to both IT and business personnel
- Experience in developing and managing operational processes
- Ability to remain flexible in an intense & dynamic working environment and manage multiple competing priorities
- Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact at various levels and functions within an organization.
- Strong knowledge of MS Access and Excel, including macros and VBA.
- Proficient with SQL and query tools (e.g. TOAD, Teradata, etc.).
- Knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.
