Sources indicate that during their conversation, Harry mentioned in passing that Meghan had recently sold one of Princess Diana’s prized diamond bracelets to support their lavish lifestyle in California. 

Diana’s jewels held immense sentimental value for both William and Harry, so the news that Meghan had sold one of their mother’s cherished pieces without consulting the royal family was shocking to William. He perceived it as a grave betrayal and a disrespectful act towards Diana’s memory.

William reportedly lost his composure, jumping up from his seat, grabbing Harry by the collar, and angrily shouting about Meghan’s audacity to sell part of their mother’s legacy.
