She displayed both her elegance and her thriftiness at this year’s Trooping the Colour by opting to re-wear her stunning ensemble from the King’s Coronation.
Lady Louise Windsor, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, chose the same Suzannah London floral dress that turned heads at Westminster Abbey last year.
Now, leading celebrity stylist Alex Longmore – who has worked with Joan Collins, Jerry Hall and Louise’s cousin Zara Phillips – has said the 20-year-old is an ‘English rose that is blossoming’.
She added to MailOnline:’Lady Louise isn’t trying to make statement, she is aristocratic and not fashion conscious.
‘It is intimidating stepping out as a member of the royal family and she has been doing it tactfully with a slow progression as she gains confidence.’
Her Trooping the Colour outing was just one example of how Louise is emerging as a new fashion icon of the Royal Family.

Ms Longmore said: ‘There is a sensitivity that we see in her style that plays on her interests, dressing in her comfort zone but not shouting from the rooftops that she is a style icon which is very similar to her mother’s style.
‘She is slowly gathering the reins as she does carriage driving.’

Sandringham Horse Driving Trials – 2024
Lady Louise made a sparkling debut at the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials in June, racing her way to a silver medal alongside her close university friend Felix da Silva-Clamp.
For the appearance, Lady Louise swapped her tweed jacket and riding hat for a cap and Royal Windsor gilet.
The relaxed outfit showed the down to earth attitude she has when it comes to fashion.

Lady Louise looked effortlessly elegant as she joined her family for the Christmas Day church service in Sandringham last year.
She opted for a a navy wool coat by London-based brand The Fold, paired with nude suede heels by royal-favourite LK Bennett and a Jane Taylor Millinery trilby hat.

Attending a student theatre party at St Andrews University with her friend Felix da Silva-Clamp in April, Lady Louise opted for a little black dress and glamorous gold accessories.
The dress itself was simple, but her geometric golden Zara choker was a statement, giving a stylish edge to the plunging silk dress.

It is a hobby she inherited from her late grandfather, Prince Philip.
For the event, she wrapped up in an oatmeal-coloured riding jacket by ME + EM with a cream coloured blouse beneath and a delicate floral and foliage decorated scarf.

At Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral in September 2022, Lady Louise looked sophisticated and poised in a form-fitting black dress by Theory.
The maxi dress featured feminine flutter sleeves, a trumpet-style skirt, and a deep v-neckline.
