It seems Prince William and Kate Middleton are feeling quite anxious about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent and future international trips. According to royal expert Tom Quinn, the senior royals, especially the Cambridges, are deeply concerned about the Sussexes’ globetrotting activities.

As Quinn told The Mirror, “The fear is made worse because William knows that with his wife stricken with cancer, he cannot compete, and he can’t stop the Harry and Meghan roller coaster.” The expert noted that the Cambridges are worried Harry and Meghan will continue organizing trips around the world until they become the public face of the royal family.

Moreover, Quinn suggested the Sussexes may bring their children, Archie and Lilibet, on these tours as they get older, which would only add to the Cambridges’ worries. “Meghan is acutely aware of what a great look this will be – the charming royal couple with their charming royal children will attract the sort of publicity that Harry and Meghan crave,” he said.

This comes as Kate Middleton is undergoing cancer treatment, causing William and Kate to scale back their royal duties. The Duchess of Cambridge’s diagnosis has deeply affected her estranged brother-in-law, Prince Harry, who recently traveled to London without Meghan. However, it’s unlikely Harry will reconnect with Kate, as William is reportedly unwilling to let his brother near his ailing wife.

The Cambridges and Sussexes were once extremely close, but the ongoing royal family drama has left a lot of “lingering bitterness” between the two couples, making a reunion rather improbable at the moment, according to author Christopher Andersen.
