Like the rest of the UK, we were absolutely delighted to see the stunning Princess of Wales take to the Royal Box just in time to catch the men’s singles final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz. It’s been claimed that she took it all in with an unusual move at the Wimbledon final. 

Catherine looked relaxed and elegant at Wimbledon but showed small signs that she wasn’t fully on top form. More than six months of torture and abuse by mainstream and social media, more than six months of conspiracy theories in an attempt to break her, but today, with her family’s support, proved that she remains unbreakable.

This marked Catherine’s second public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis. Though her first appearance at Trooping the Colour was marked by a sense of patriotism and optimism, there were moments when she seemed slightly fatigued as she kept a watchful eye on her three children. However, this time at Wimbledon, the princess showed no signs of stress from her health battle. Clad in a stunning purple dress adorned with a traditional plaid Club bow pin, Catherine exuded grace and resilience.

During the tournament, one of the most exciting moments was undoubtedly Middleton’s entrance into the Royal Box, hand in hand with her daughter. The Princess of Wales received a standing ovation from the audience, a beautiful display of support during this difficult time as she battles cancer. Videos shared on social media captured her reaction—a beaming smile, slightly overwhelmed by the crowd’s response. 

The royal wanted to take it all in as she stood to wave at the crowds, receiving a round of applause as she took her seat in the Royal Box. Typically, Catherine would sit, but she opted to stand to acknowledge and take in the applause, making the moment special. 

Another noteworthy reaction came from Princess Charlotte, who smiled proudly at her mother. The applause echoed deeply throughout the stadium. Catherine politely summoned 9-year-old Charlotte into her seat alongside Pippa. According to lip-reading expert Nicola Hickling, the princess told the pair where to sit and shared a positive message.

 It was noted that Kate said, “Charlotte, I want you to sit here, and Pippa, you’re next to Charlotte just here.” Then she turned to former tennis professional Debbie Jevans, who was seated on her left and dressed in a cream suit, and joyfully said, “It’s so good we’re seated together.”

At the event, the 42-year-old strolled over the bridge alongside her 9-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, who wore the Cecilia Lilac Mini Dress from Sofia, while her sister Pippa Middleton donned pink florals. Catherine’s choice was nothing short of spectacular, featuring an A-line skirt that falls to a midi length. 

The dress, priced at £1,295 from the British brand Safia, boasts an interesting twist detailing on the bodice that drapes beautifully with structured sleeves that lend a polished appearance. The neckline had been altered to cover more of the royal’s dcollet, making it a one-of-a-kind design. She accessorized with a nude box bag, gold jewelry, and gold hoop earrings from By Pariah, and styled her hair in a relaxed side parting. 

Moreover, a black pin representing the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club adorned the left side of her chest. However, what truly set this dress apart was its color. Catherine cleverly chose purple, a hue closely associated with Wimbledon, echoing the tournament’s iconic purple and green logo that has stood the test of time for over a century. 

In this way, the Princess of Wales honored the tradition of the prestigious tournament while also asserting her regal presence. Her ability to blend elegance with symbolism demonstrates her acute awareness of her role and the platform she holds.
