is in hot water with his fans in Ohio. Again.
The “Rock Your Body” singer, 44, canceled his Thursday, February 27 Columbus concert — the last stop on the U.S. leg of his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour— a mere 10 minutes before the opening act was supposed to take the stage, sending an already-packed Nationwide Arena home. The show had been originally scheduled for October 23, 2024 but was postponed due to sickness until February.
This time, the show was out-right canceled.

“You guys,” he addressed his fans on . “I’m heartbroken. I have to cancel the show tonight. I went into soundcheck battling the flu and now it’s gotten the best of me. It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen. I want to reassure you. You’ll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all.”
While a number of fans told the Grammy winner to feel better soon, some of his biggest fans — many of who had spent money to travel to Columbus for two canceled shows — were wary of the last-minute nature of the announcement.
“The show was canceled at 7:30 and the show was supposed to start at 8:00,” noted one commenter. “If you have the flu you would’ve known before a half hour before the show starts.”
“Canceling because of being sick is 100% understandable,” read the Instagram post’s top comment. “Canceling 10 minutes before the doors were to open is unacceptable.”
One fan who had spent money to travel to Columbus for both canceled shows wrote, “This should be rescheduled not refunded.” But another disagreed, responding, “Nah, I’ll just take my money back at this point.”
Timberlake has not yet released a statement about fan speculation. The “SexyBack” star is scheduled to open the South American leg of his tour in Buenos Aires on March 21, return to the U.S. to headline BottleRock in Napa on May 24, and perform in Europe May through July.
