Carrie Underwood shocked country fans with her latest move.
On Saturday, February 15, the “Before He Cheats” singer hit the stage in a surprise appearance at Cody Johnson’s Leather Tour show in Nashville. Underwood — whose last month continues to make headlines — sang with Johnson on their duet “I’m Gonna Love You.”

According to , while fans were wondering if Underwood, 41, would come out to perform the track with him, Johnson initially teased the song as a solo performance — singing the first several lines of the song on stage by himself (just as he does on the recorded track).
Underwood, for her part, quickly hit the stage to join in on the song, the crowd cheering in excitement at her surprise appearance.
Underwood’s cameo at Johnson’s show comes amid much buzz — and much discussion — surrounding the original American Idol winner.
