It seems the pressures of his new California life have finally gotten to Prince Harry. The delusional duke actually believes he and his wife, Meghan Markle, have “made it to the other side” of their royal drama.
Yes, really. Despite being embroiled in one scandal after another, from explosive tell-all interviews to multimillion-dollar media deals, the Montecito pair apparently think they’ve put the past behind them.
“Harry genuinely feels like he and Meghan have weathered the storm and emerged stronger than ever,” a so-called “insider” told a questionable gossip rag. “He thinks they’ve turned a corner and can focus on the future.”
The future, in this case, likely means raking in even more cash through their lucrative entertainment ventures. After all, what’s a little palace drama when you have Netflix and Spotify millions rolling in?
But the rest of the world doesn’t seem quite as convinced that the Sussexes have achieved happily-ever-after status. In fact, the British public still firmly views Meghan as the wicked witch who “stole” their beloved prince.
And the royal family? They reportedly continue to keep Harry and his American bride at arm’s length, still seething over the pair’s tell-all interviews and perceived betrayals.
“The royals see Harry as a lost cause at this point,” the insider claimed. “They’ve written him off as a grown man who’s been brainwashed by his manipulative wife.”
Ouch. Talk about a harsh assessment. But then again, can you blame the Windsors for feeling that way? After all, Harry did publicly accuse his own flesh and blood of “racism” and “neglect.”
Still, the delusional duke remains undeterred, convinced that he and Meghan have emerged victorious from their royal ructions.
“Harry thinks they’ve proven their worth and showed the world that they’re the real deal,” the source continued. “In his mind, they’re now a powerful, untouchable force to be reckoned with.”
Ah, yes. The “powerful, untouchable force” that’s currently craving attention and relevance from the very institution they claim to have left behind.
Sorry, Harry, but the rest of us aren’t quite as convinced of your grand triumph. As far as we can tell, you and your wife are still the royal rejects, desperate to remain in the spotlight.
Maybe you two should focus on “turning a corner” in your personal lives before declaring victory on the world stage. Just a thought.
